Извиняюсь за некоторое отсутствие в блогосфере, у меня были насыщенные выходные :). В субботу состоялся долгожданный концерт Nightwish (читайте тут), и хоть после него я проспала 11 часов от усталости, мне хотелось ещё один концерт и ещё парочку часов сна :D. По случаю концерта из далёкой Латвии к нам приехала Рита aka Icegirl, с кем мы до этого общались только через наши блоги :). А на следующий день мы встретились с Ксю из недалёкого Хельсинки, тоже впервые в реале :).
Sorry for my absence here, I had a very busy weekend ^.^ I went to long-awaited concert of Nightwish last Saturday (read about it here), and even though I slept for 11 hours after it because I was so tired, I still wanted one more gig and a few more hours of sleep :D. Rita aka Icegirl came from distant Latvia to see Nightwish live, and it was the first time we met in reality. We only knew each other through our blogs :). And on the next day we met Ksu from not so far away Helsinki whom we both knew only online before :).
Перед концертом я повела гостью в ближайший лес любоваться финскими соснами и сугробами. Рита, если ты приедешь летом, то мы будем собирать там чернику и малину :).
Before Nightwish I took my guest to the nearest forest to admire Finnish pines and snow piles. Rita, if you come here in summer, we can pick blueberries and raspberries there :).

В воскресенье, сонная после недостаточно долгого сна, я с мужем, Ритой и Ксю отправилась на виллу Эльфвик любоваться финскими сугробами и лошадками. Я активно папараццила и снимала всех тайком :Р.
Sleepy from not enough sleep, on Sunday I took my husband, Rita and Ksu to Villa Elfvik to admire Finnish snow piles and horses. There I actively paparazzied, taking pictures of everyone from behind :P.
В этот раз на вилле была выставка необычного дизайна — вещей из в общем-то мусора. Выглядело всё ярко и не мусорно :).
This time there was an exhibition about an unusual design – things made from thrash. It looked actually pretty bright and not thrashy :).
Затем мы пошли к заснеженному заливу, где сумасшедшие финны катались на лыжах, запускали воздушных змеев и выгуливали собак. Снега была так много, что почти весь прошлогодний тростник спрятался под ним. Летом здесь будут зелень, птицы и морская вода.
Then we went to snow-covered bay, where crazy Finns were skiing, flying their kites and walking their dogs. There was so much snow that almost all reeds from the last year were hidden under it. Come summer this place will be full of green, birds and sea water.

Потом мы поехали к нам домой смотреть, как муж делает пиццу :). Вернее, две. Мы с Ксю оказались единственными любителями томатного сока, поэтому распили его с горя на двоих. Пиццы вышли как обычно сочные и вкусные, хотя муж традиционно пожаловался, что они были так себе :). Скромняга.
Then we went to our place to see how my hubby makes two pizzas for us ^.^ Ksu and I were the only ones who liked tomato juice, so we drowned our sorrow about it in a pack of the said juice. Both pizzas were yummy and juicy, as usually, and hubby traditionally complained they were not good enough. Such a modest boy :).
Вечером мы с Ритой просмотрели все 222 (я не специально!) фотки из минералогического музея Тампере. Я-то думала, что кроме меня никому эти камушки интересны не будут :). Нам надо обязательно сходить вдвоём в минералогический музей Хельсинки с запасом еды, чтобы весь день там гулять и тыкать в каменья :))).
In the evening Rita and I looked at each of 222 photos (I didn't plan the number!) that I took in the mineralogical museum in Tampere. I thought I'd be the only one to enjoy all those stones :). We have to go to the mineralogical museum of Helsinki with some food supply, so that we can walk there for the whole day poking at rocks =^.^=
Товарищи Рита и Ксю, я официально записываю вас в Орден Друзей. Посвящение через объятия Пирожка всё равно уже состоялось :Р. А ещё у нас в клумбе проснулись крокусы :). Вечно они прямо через снег лезут.
Comrades Rita and Ksu, I officially enroll you into the Order of Friends. The Initiation has already happened anyway when you hugged Pirozhok :P. Also, crocuses in our flowerbed woke up :). They like to grow through the snow.
P.S. На днях исполнилось 20 лет с премьеры первого эпизода Sailor Moon. 20 лет! Чувствую себя такой старой :).
P.S. A few days ago was 20 years anniversary of the premiere of the first episode of Sailor Moon. 20 years! I feel so old now :).

DeleteBeautiful photos of what looks like a fascinating weekend. (I think I'm jealous.) That photo of the tree that had fallen over - the one that looks like a living sculpture made of wood - is truly stunning. Though the best photo is the one with the horses, of course! ^^
ReplyDeletePS: Here in Tokyo the flowering bulbs have also started pushing through still icy cold soil, and plum trees are in full bloom. Soon, cherry blossoms. Soon ...
There were storms here, so quite mane trees are lying around now, but only this one was cracked like that. Most just gently departed their roots from earth.
DeleteI saw those horses in their pen but never before out of it ^^ They were so fluffy! I wish I could pet them and bring them carrots. I envy people that live in that area - having all this nature and horses around. And there are cows nearby as well, in summer ^^ Click here to see cows and a horse ^^ If fishing in the land of thousands lakes and Finnish chocolate seduce you to come here one day, I'll take to villa Elfvik ^^

Fishing, snow, chocolate, horses, quirky language, beautiful landscapes, fascinating mythology ... I think Finland just might be a must! Oh, and aurora! You get aurora? Bit more north?
Yeah, it's very rare here on south, but you can see aurora in Lapland if you're lucky. I think more chances in winter. Summer nights in Lapland are not nights at all ^^ But midnight sun is so beautiful *_*
DeleteFor now you can check last year's photos of hanami. Sakura decided to bloom a bit earlier than expected, so we only saw the last blooms, but anyway, it was cool ^^ Real Japanese trees and real Finnish Japanese people, as few as they were ^.^
