Meet Deneb & Co [Daily Photo #234]

Oh hey, I have a new toy! :)

It took a looong time to find fitting names for these little friends! My mind kept thinking of space and motherships, so eventually I thought of stars, blue and white giants, and then it dawned on me: there's a swan constellation, Cygnus! And so I named the mama swan Deneb (that's α Cygni, by the way, and it's a blue-white supergiant and the 19th brightest star in the night sky). As for the kids, I named them Kepler, Hubble and Chandra. ;p

November Moss Poetry [Daily Photo #233]

Alas, 'tis winter no more...
Rainy days washed away lovely snow.
But my eyes, same as before,
Are pleased with the greenness of moss.

Ash [Daily Photo #229]

Ever since a small incense stall appeared at the market near my house, back in Moscow when I was a kid, I've been a huge fan of incense. Incense is a bit harder to find in Finland (in Moscow it's very common and often cheap), but eventually I've discovered an online shop, Suitsukekauppa, that has great selection and nice prices! I think it's time to order more incense...

This is dragon's blood (what a cool name!).
I wish you could smell it!

Restaurant Thamel [Daily Photo #227]

Nepalese food is especially good in winter! Here's what we got from Thamel, the first Nepalese restaurant in Espoo:

alu govi (spicy potatoes and cauliflower)
malai kofta (cheese balls in delicious sauce)
saag chana (chickpeas and spinach, nom nom).

Brrr! It's Ice Cream In Here! [Daily Photo #226]

So… we bought a lot of ice cream yesterday… =D My husband loves Ben & Jerry's so he chose one of theirs, chocolate mint. Since I prefer vegan ice cream and their vegan products aren't yet available here, I got my usual vegan TofuLine (pear and toffee) and Tötterö (raspberry, salty liquorice, chili). Nom nom nom!

Vege Pizza, Toy-Approved [Daily Photo #219]

Toys are excited about their first Saarioinen vegan pizza!

Forks (and a spoon…) ready!
This pizza has mushrooms, paprika, onion and vegan cheese.
I added olives and jalapeño.

“We deem it delicious. Buy more.”

Coffee With No Books?! [Daily Photo #218]

At Robert's Coffee: oat milk mocha.

No book included this time because the library closed earlier than usual because of some Christian holiday and I didn't know about it. T.T “My” copy of Scarlet by Marissa Meyer is still waiting there, poor thing. I'll get you soon! I'll binge-read you, I promise! You didn't travel all the way there in vain! \@v@/
