Baba Yaga's Chicken-Legged Hut [Daily Photo #703]

Before I show you the hut of Baba Yaga, let's drool over these delicious photos from yesterday, shall we? =D Carrot-mango-ginger smoothie and chocolate coffee in Espresso House. NOM NOM.

Meltable chocolate!

So. Baba Yaga. A character from Russian folklore who lives in a chicken-legged hut and flies in a mortar. I certainly never expected to see her house in Finland! =D But…

There it is! In the Sello library.

Made from recycled things by a local artist, Sakari Kannosto.

How cool is that? =D

Chicken legs – or dinosaur legs?

As a bonus, here is a video of Baba Yaga in a modern version of her famous mortar vehicle.
